The difference between Nik Bärtsch's Mobile and Nik Bärtsch's Ronin is underlined here with this follow-up ro Ronin's REA - the titles of each of these albums are an inversion/reversal of the other.

To mark the difference in simple musical terms, though, is less straightforward. However, if you look at Ritual Groove Music as a unique concept, and then look at the two groups' places within thatr, you can see Mobile as leaning towards Ritual, while Ronin leans towards Groove. The diptych created by the two albums REA and AER suggests a mode of listening required by the listener, and indeed, the two albums compliment eachother in very unexpected ways.

Again, "Modul 8" and "Modul 11" make an appearance, and in this permutation they give this album the majority of the groove within it.
