The band was put together by Mats Gustafsson, known from his work with Sonic Youth, Peter Brotzman, David Grubbs and groups like Diskaholics Anonymous Trio and The Thing among others.
The recordings on this album was recorded live on the Original Silence Italian tour, the 30th of September 2005 in Teatro Arisoto, Reggio Emilia, Italy, to be more specific. This is the first in a series of recordings from Original Silence. There is obviously lots of early Sonic Youth, The Ex and Scandinavia free-jazz in this album. But ...
