Team Me

If you believe bloggers and journalists all around the world, Team Me is one of the hottest newcomers of 2011. And it all started out as an accidental success when Marius Hagen and his private, little sideproject Team Me ended up in the 2010 Norwegian national radio-battle of the bands.

Team Me will be releasing their debut EP, simply called “Team Me EP”, produced by Tom McFall (REM, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol) exclusively in Norway Februar 7th, coinciding with the band hitting the road as support for The Wombats on their UK and Scandinavia tour, as well as doing to shows as support for British Sea Power. The EP will be released internationally later this spring and is the first taster of a fullength album, coming in the fall of 2011.

Not only is Team Me´s music and live show appealing to so many, the band has a great creative side to them as well. The band recently launced an alternative music video for their newest single “Weathervanes and Chemicals” made as an online flashbased videogame. The game has already been played over 500.000 times by gamelovers all over the world, in less than two months out on the internet.

The band have played nothing less than 8 Norwegian festivals this summer, and the people who were lucky enough to squeeze in the crowd at Team Me’s concert at Øyafestivalen, could all feel that something big is about to happen. This might also be why Team Me shortly after got invited back to play next year´s Øya festival and was one of the first bands to be picked out for by:Larm 2011, Scandinavias biggest industry event for music.
